DIAZ TREE

About DIAZ TREE

Ice storms are Stafford's other winter. Out along White Oak Road the poplars and pines take on a glass shell, the whole county turns silver, and the pavement underneath goes treacherous without ever looking like snow. DIAZ TREE runs snow and ice work through those nights — plowing drives and lots, scraping walkways clear, and putting salt and sand on the slopes that never see sun. The best hours are the earliest ones, when a driveway can be opened before anyone has to try it in the dark. By mid-morning the ice is dripping off the branches and the surface is already dry.
