Bailey's Lawn Care

About Bailey's Lawn Care

June along Potomac Creek starts wet: fog lying low in the marsh grass, dew heavy enough to darken your boots by the second yard of the morning. Bailey's Lawn Care meets Stafford's mornings there — mowing, trimming, edging, and hauling off the clippings and limbs a week piles up. The county's red clay grows a stubborn fescue that wants cutting on a rhythm, and holding that rhythm through a humid Virginia summer is most of the job. Late in the day, when the heat finally loosens and the light goes gold over the water, the lawns show it: even height, straight passes, edges that stop exactly where they should. That is the part worth driving home for.
