About AIS Companies LLC

Garrisonville sits on a long ridge, and when a storm is coming the whole ridge seems to lean into it. AIS Companies LLC runs snow in Stafford: plowing lots and drives, cutting walkways down to pavement, and spreading salt where the ice wants to set up first. The work starts in the black hours, when Route 610 is nothing but sodium light and blowing powder, and it keeps going through the second and third pass a real storm demands. By the time the earliest cars ease out toward the interstate, the lanes are open and the curb cuts are square. There is a plain satisfaction in that — a county waking up to ground it can walk on.
