Lawn Crabs

About Lawn Crabs

School mornings set the deadline in Springfield: whatever fell overnight has to be off the walks and driveways before the buses come down Old Keene Mill Road. Lawn Crabs works to that clock, plowing, shoveling and de-icing so the first step out the door lands on something solid. Storms here are often only a few inches, wet and dense, and they set like concrete the moment a car rolls across them. Getting under the snow while it is still loose is half the craft; the salt line at the bottom of the drive is the other half. Then the street wakes up and the day simply happens, on time.
