Blades of Green Lawn Care

About Blades of Green Lawn Care

By June the tulip poplars over Cardinal Forest have closed the canopy, and the grass beneath them grows at two speeds — quick in the sun, slow and thin in the shade. Blades of Green Lawn Care reads that difference lot by lot, mowing at the height Springfield's tall fescue wants rather than the height that goes fastest. Weekly cutting, trimming around beds and fences, edging, mulch work and spring and fall cleanups make up the list. There is real pleasure in the moment a shaggy yard turns quiet and geometric, the mower fading off down the block behind it. Green in this town is less a color than a habit kept up all summer.
