About Baumgardner's Tree Care, LLC

Four small rivers — the Ni, the Po, the Ny and the Mat — thread the woods around Spotsylvania Courthouse, and the oaks leaning over them have long memories of weather. Baumgardner's Tree Care works those hardwoods and pines the way this county asks: pruning that opens a crown back up to the light, trimming that lifts limbs clear of a roofline, removal when a tree has finished its argument with the ground. When a July line of thunderstorms comes barreling up from the south, storm damage cleanup begins at the driveway and works inward until a red-clay yard is a yard again. There is a plain pleasure in the last pass, when the ground is clear and the only thing missing is the problem that used to be there. Old ground, tended without fuss.
