About Calhoun's Landscaping

Spring reaches South Hill along the old rail bed, the Tobacco Heritage Trail greening up while the mornings still carry a chill off the pines. That is the season this landscaping work leans into — first cuts, clearing everything winter left in the beds, fresh mulch laid dark around the shrubs. Through summer it is steady mowing and string trimming, hedges kept honest, borders drawn so the lawn and the planting beds each know where they stand. Come autumn the leaves are gathered and hauled and the yard is put down for the cold. Good ground, worked in order, right around the calendar.
