Smithfield Tree Service

About Smithfield Tree Service

Out past Benn's Church the county opens into fields, and Cypress Creek slips under Route 10 in a tangle of gum and oak that stays green until it decides otherwise. Smithfield Tree Service works both sides of Isle of Wight — removing a storm-cracked oak at a farm's edge, trimming limbs off a shop roof, pruning a young shade tree so it grows the way you would want it in twenty summers. Summer here builds heat all day and spends it all at once, and storm damage cleanup is the morning after: the lane cleared, the yard walkable, the wood gone. The trick is putting big wood down in tight places without rutting a lawn or clipping a fence. A job done that way disappears into the landscape, which is exactly right.
