About S & M Lawn and Landscaping

The valley pinches in at Shawsville, mountains close on both sides, and whatever the sky is doing it does here with some enthusiasm. S & M Lawn and Landscaping takes care of properties along that stretch all year — mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups when things are growing, plowing, clearing and ice treatment when they are not. The Roanoke River runs young and quick down there, and the bottomland grass beside it grows like it is being paid to. Winter along the mountain grade brings wind-packed drifts across driveways that were fine an hour earlier, so a route sometimes gets run twice. Either way the standard holds: show up, finish it, and leave a place someone is glad to come home to.
