Stuarts Lawn and Tree Service

About Stuarts Lawn and Tree Service

Come the third week of October the brick fronts on Main Street pick up a new color off the maples, and every yard in town is suddenly carrying more leaves than lawn. Stuarts Lawn and Tree Service handles that season and the ones on either side of it around Scottsville — mowing, trimming, edging, leaf removal and the cleanups that put a property to bed. Out toward the Hardware River the hardwoods drop heavy and all at once, which turns cleanup into a matter of timing as much as effort. Grass smothered under wet leaves comes back thin in April; grass cleared in time comes back as though nothing had happened. Knowing that difference, and acting on it, is most of the job.
