About Jones Tree Service & Landscaping, LLC

The James makes a wide horseshoe around Scottsville, and on a cool morning the river throws a fog that stands above the levee until the day decides to begin. Jones Tree Service & Landscaping works the town and the river hills through all of it — mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups while things are growing, then plowing, walk clearing and de-icing when winter comes down the valley. River-bottom ground grows grass with real ambition, and keeping pace with it takes a schedule you actually hold to. When snow does land here it usually rides in on a slick underlayer, so drives get opened and then treated, not merely opened. Either season, the outcome is the same sort of thing — a property handed back in better shape than it was found.
