Greer's Mowing

About Greer's Mowing

Fog sits on the Saltville ponds most mornings until the sun climbs high enough to lift it off the water. Greer's Mowing works both ends of the year in that valley: mowing, trimming and edging while the grass runs, then plowing, shoveling and de-icing once the calendar turns hard. Summer is a rhythm of weekly cuts and a lawn that looks the same good way every time you pull in. Winter is another job entirely — up early, headlights on, pushing a driveway open so a truck can get out to the highway. The town changes clothes twice a year, and the work changes with it without ever lowering its standard.
