About Star City Land Innovations

From the east end of Salem the land opens toward Roanoke, and on a clear night the star up on the mountain sits above all of it like a porch light left on for the whole county. Star City Land Innovations works both halves of the calendar underneath it — mowing, edging, trimming and cleanups while the fescue is running, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the ridges go white. The two jobs are more alike than they look: read the ground, know where the water wants to go, and finish the edge. A lawn mown in straight passes and a driveway cleared curb to curb deliver the same small, exact pleasure. Salem is a town you can serve twice over in a single year, and that is precisely the appeal.
