Scrappy Creek Tree Service

About Scrappy Creek Tree Service

First cold snap, and the oaks along the college quad go bronze, Mason Creek runs clear, and Twelve O'Clock Knob wears the low sun all afternoon. Scrappy Creek Tree Service works that turn in the year: crowns trimmed before the leaves are gone and the wind gets its chance, deadwood pruned out over a driveway, a mulberry that split at the crotch removed before the rest of it lets go. Storm damage cleanup fills the other half of the calendar — downed limbs cleared, the yard opened back up, the wood hauled off or stacked where it is wanted. Doing that in a tight Salem back lot without leaving a rut or a broken fence board takes patience more than muscle. What is left is a tree with room to breathe and a yard that looks looked-after.
