About TNT Land Management

Snow comes to this part of Virginia sideways and undecided. It starts as rain near Carmel Church, turns over sometime after dark, and by four in the morning the flat pine country is under it. TNT Land Management runs plows and shovels through Ruther Glen when that happens — driveways, private lanes, parking areas and walkways cleared, and the slick spots treated before anyone has to guess. Wet southern snow is heavy work; it packs, it refreezes, and it does not forgive a lazy pass. The measure of a good night is a lot opened up wide and square at dawn, with the piles pushed where they will not be in the way when the next one comes.
