About RR Tree Service & Care LLC

On a June evening the plateau between Groseclose and Wytheville turns green in about four shades at once, and the light hangs on long enough to finish a job properly. RR Tree Service & Care LLC uses that hour — a crown trimmed back from a farmhouse eave, crossed and rubbing limbs pruned away, a dead tree dropped into the hayfield where it can land clean. Storms come over the ridge with real force up here, and storm damage cleanup means the fence line is walkable and the lane passable again. The mountains make the work vertical and particular; nothing gets rushed and nothing swings where it should not. A yard left tidy at dusk, truck loaded and ground unmarked, is a good way to end a day.
