About R W Morris Hauling & Tree Service

Midsummer in Greene County finds the South River low and warm, the hayfields cut into stripes, and thunder building over Stanardsville by four in the afternoon. R W Morris Hauling & Tree Service takes the work that comes after — storm damage cleanup on farm lanes and yards, the split limb lifted off the fence, the whole tangle loaded out and gone instead of piled at the road. The rest of the season runs to removals and trimming: a pine leaning toward the barn, deadwood pruned from a big yard oak before it finds the roof on its own. Hauling is half the job and the half people remember, because a finished one leaves nothing to look at. Out where the driveway is long and the tractor still has to get through, that matters.
