Arbor Care Tree Service

About Arbor Care Tree Service

Drive north out of Charlottesville and the Blue Ridge rises on your left like a long blue wall; by Ruckersville the orchards start, and in late October Greene County smells like windfall apples. Arbor Care Tree Service works this stretch between Route 29 and the mountains: pruning to shape young trees and relieve old ones, trimming crowns off houses and drives, removing what the last dry summer finished off at the field edge. Storms slide down out of Swift Run Gap fast enough to catch a farm unready, and storm damage cleanup is the day-after work of opening lanes, freeing fences and stacking what is worth stacking. A cut made in the right place is a small kindness to a tree — it heals, it holds, it keeps its shape. That is the result worth aiming for out here.
