About Valley Landscaping

Rio lies in the long trough between the Blue Ridge and the Southwest Mountains, and snow tends to linger down there on the flat. Valley Landscaping clears it — plow work across drives and lots, hand shoveling on walks, steps and landings, and ice control for the hours after dusk when melt turns to glass. The evening refreeze is the sneaky one, and the crisp edge cut at four o'clock is what keeps five o'clock honest. Each driveway gets pushed back far enough that the following storm has somewhere to go. When spring finally arrives the pavement is intact and the grass on either side never knew the difference.
