About RidgeStone Excavating & Hardscapes

Yards on the Bent Mountain side of Roanoke do not lie flat; they roll and pitch, holding red clay a few inches under the topsoil and daring you to keep grass on them. RidgeStone Excavating & Hardscapes takes those lawns on — mowing across the grade, trimming banks and terraces, keeping the edge sharp where turf meets gravel and stone. Summer up along Route 221 runs cooler than the city below, so growth keeps coming after the valley lawns have slowed. October brings leaves down hard off the ridgeline oaks, and cleanup means every slope and bed, not only the easy flat. A sloped yard cut clean has a shape to it you can see from the road.
