About Landmark Yards

Midsummer in northwest Roanoke is heat coming up off the sidewalk as much as down from the sky, so the mowing starts early and keeps moving. Landmark Yards runs the corner lots over on the Melrose side — two street frontages, two sets of walks, twice the edging. Weekly cuts, trimming along the chain link and down the alley, hard surfaces blown clear before the truck rolls. Cleanups in spring and fall, mulch in the beds, leaves hauled out once the maples let go of them. A corner lot is the front page of a block, and it gets treated that way.
