About Big Jays Earthworks

Elevation decides everything in this county. Rain down in the city can be four inches on Bent Mountain, and the folks living up there know it well before the forecast catches on. Big Jays Earthworks plows the mountain drives and the roads below them — long approaches, steep pitches, turnarounds that have to be opened wide enough for a truck to swing around. Salt and sand go down on the grades where a stopped vehicle would never start again. Coming back down toward the valley at the end of a run, every drive on the route cut clean, is a good way to finish a night.
