About Sheppard Services LLC

Four in the morning in Riner is a dark, cold, particular hour, and it is when Sheppard Services LLC starts moving. Snow removal along the roads toward the Little River bottoms is a matter of arriving before anyone needs to leave: plowing, shoveling walks, laying salt where shade keeps a patch slick. Winter does not fall evenly out here, stacking in the hollows and scouring the high fields, so every drive gets read on its own terms. By the time the sky turns gray-blue over the pastures, the mailbox is reachable and the truck can back out clean. That is the whole point, and it never stops being satisfying.
