About Valor Lawn Care & Landscaping LLC

Morning arrives at Libby Hill before it reaches anywhere else in Richmond, sliding up the bend of the James while the brick sidewalks of Church Hill are still cool underfoot. Valor Lawn Care & Landscaping LLC works the hours that follow that light, mowing terraced yards cut into a slope that has never gotten any flatter. There is a particular satisfaction in an edge run clean along old brick — the line stays true, the walk reads wider, and the whole front of a house sits up straighter for it. Trimming, mulch laid dark around the boxwood, spring and fall cleanups hauled away, leaves cleared before the first hard rain packs them into the turf: the ordinary rounds of lawn care in a city that grows fast and green. By June the grass here climbs back a day after it is cut, and that suits them fine — it means there is always something to keep sharp.
