Smitty Lawn Maintenance

About Smitty Lawn Maintenance

Westover Hills yards fall away in terraces toward Forest Hill Park, and mowing them is half walking and half leaning. Smitty Lawn Maintenance cuts, trims and edges those Southside slopes all season, then clears the leaves when the tulip poplars turn gold. August dusk is the best of it, fireflies coming up out of the fresh-cut grass while the day's heat finally lets go. Older Richmond neighborhoods hold odd little yards full of stone walls and roots, and they reward being learned instead of rushed. Cut properly, the grass ends in a clean line at every wall it meets.
