Richmond Mowing

About Richmond Mowing

First light on the blocks of Richmond, and the grass is still wet. Richmond Mowing starts there: mow, edge, trim the fence line, blow the walk, load the clippings, move to the next address. It is a plain trade run on a steady rhythm, and the whole of it shows in one glance from the curb — height even, lines parallel, borders cut clean. Through a long dry stretch a lawn only holds its look if somebody keeps to the schedule, and keeping to it is the job. By mid-morning a dozen yards are behind the truck and the day is still young.
