About KMA Services LLC

Four in the morning on West Broad, and the only things moving are the traffic lights and a plow with its beacon turning. KMA Services LLC handles snow removal across Richmond in those hours — clearing drives and lots, opening walkways, laying treatment where refreeze would turn a wet surface into a hazard by sunrise. Storms here often start as rain and end as something meaner, which makes timing the whole craft: too early and it is wasted, too late and it has already set. The measure of a night's work is a property that shows no sign there was ever a problem. Bare pavement, a clean line along the curb, and a door people reach without thinking about it.
