Dogwood Lawn Service

About Dogwood Lawn Service

Bryan Park goes to color in April, azaleas lighting up under the tall trees, and the whole Northside seems to green up in the same week. Dogwood Lawn Service keeps pace with it — mowing, edging and trimming the deep Ginter Park and Battery Park yards where fescue has to be coaxed through a Virginia summer. Cutting high in July, chasing the seed down in September, clearing what the oaks let go in November: it is a rhythm the lawn will tell you if you listen. This is lawn care for houses with porches and long front walks, where the line between grass and sidewalk ought to read straight from the street. A yard mown clean on a Friday afternoon, sun coming sideways through the trees, is its own small argument for taking care of things.
