About CD Hall Construction

North of the city the country opens up fast — Hanover fields, long farm drives, mailboxes a hundred yards from the porch. When sleet comes through Mechanicsville it does the worst kind of work, a glaze under an inch of snow, and those drives become the day's real problem. CD Hall Construction handles them in winter: plowing the length of the drive, opening the turnaround, shoveling out the steps and the path to the door, and salting where the ice has set. There is a plain pleasure in watching a truck finally back out onto the road it could not reach an hour before. Storms up here are infrequent enough that people remember who showed up.
