MS Contracting, Inc runs snow removal through those stretches — plowing lots and driveways, clearing walks and entrances, then coming back for the second and third rounds an upslope night always asks for. Four in the morning on an empty lot is a strange, good hour: floodlights, blowing snow, and a rectangle of clean pavement growing behind the blade. By the time the first headlights turn in, the whole thing looks like it took no effort at all. Doing it in the dark is exactly the point.
