Greeley Tree Service

About Greeley Tree Service

Western Loudoun turns in October — Short Hill goes rust and gold, the orchards along Catoctin Creek fill up on weekends, and the W&OD path ends in Purcellville under a tunnel of maples. Greeley Tree Service works that country of stone walls and long farm lanes: pruning old shade trees and fruit-heavy limbs, trimming crowns clear of a roof or a power drop, removing an ash that has run out of green. When a squall comes down off the Blue Ridge and lays a locust across the drive, storm damage cleanup means the gate opens again by evening. Cuts get made with the tree's next season in mind, because out here the trees hold the shape of the land.
