About Arbogast Lawn & Tree, inc

Late in August the Loudoun Valley turns the color of cut hay, and the yards along the ridge roads west of Purcellville hold their green a little longer than the fields do. Arbogast Lawn & Tree, inc mows and tends those lawns — the trim around old stone foundations, the clean line where grass meets gravel, the last pass that sets the nap of a whole yard in one direction. Purcellville is a town of deep front lawns and old shade, and a lawn here is read from the road before anyone reaches the porch. By October the work turns toward leaves and the long final cuts before the ground goes cold for good. It is ordinary work done carefully, and the result shows from the end of the driveway.
