Mike's Mowing and More

About Mike's Mowing and More

Saturday morning in old Pulaski still sounds like small engines — brick streets and mill-era houses sitting behind lawns that get their week's attention all at once. Mike's Mowing and More is part of that sound, cutting, trimming and edging on lots that somebody has mowed every summer for a hundred years. The more is the ordinary rest of it: clippings cleared, corners cleaned up, leaves moved out in fall when the hills go copper. Grass here comes on strong through May and June, eases in the dry weeks, then rallies with the September rain. Keeping up with that is the job, and a yard that's kept up shows it.
