About Cecil's lawn care and more

From the overlook on Draper Mountain, Pulaski lies out in the notch below — roofs, yards, and the long green seams between them. Cecil's lawn care and more works down in that patchwork, mowing through August afternoons when heat sits in the hollows and the cicadas run loud until dusk. The cut goes down, the trimmer goes around, the blower takes the drive back to bare concrete. Yard cleanups fill the shoulder seasons, when the ridge starts turning and everything that grew all summer has to go somewhere. It's plain work, done until the yard looks squared away.
