About LG Scott Landscaping and Tree Service

Providence Forge takes its name from an ironworks whose fires once glowed here in colonial times, and the land still keeps a low, unhurried Tidewater feel. LG Scott Landscaping and Tree Service mows and tends lawns in this crossroads community, with the swampy reaches of the Chickahominy close by and July air thick enough to lean on. Grass grows hard in that warmth, and a lawn left alone for a week can get away from you. The work here brings it back to order: an even cut, crisp borders along beds and drives, clippings cleared from the walk. In the long gold evenings beneath the loblolly pines, a well-kept yard looks like an invitation to sit outside.
