Jay's Lawn Care

About Jay's Lawn Care

Evening comes on slow in western Powhatan: fields going blue, a whip-poor-will somewhere past the fence, the last yard of the day finished in good light. Jay's Lawn Care fills those days with mowing, trimming, edging and blowing, along with mulch, bed weeding and cleanups in spring and fall. In winter the hours flip — out in the dark to plow drives, shovel walks and salt the icy patches that form under the pines along Red Lane. Both halves of the year come down to the same idea: a property somebody can use without having to think about it. Powhatan, Macon, Ballsville and Cumberland sit inside the working range.
