About Green Valley Landscaping LLC

At Port Republic the North River and the South River meet to form the South Fork of the Shenandoah, and on autumn afternoons the sycamores along their banks go pale gold against the water. This Rockingham County village carries deep history, as the last battle of Stonewall Jackson's 1862 Valley Campaign was fought here, and its lawns open onto pasture that rolls toward the Blue Ridge. Green Valley Landscaping LLC carries a name made for this country, mowing and trimming yards between the rivers and the hills. Fall brings one last flush of growth after September rains, then leaves drifting down from the riverbank trees, and a yard needs clearing as often as cutting. A lawn mowed clean and raked clear of leaves, its border neat against the walk, gives a home a composed, finished look as the valley leans toward winter.
