About Green Man Lawn Care LLC

Along the Appomattox the sycamores go white-limbed by October and the river birches lean out over the current like they are listening. Green Man Lawn Care LLC keeps the yards up the bank from all that, mowing, edging and trimming through Petersburg on a steady weekly turn. River air holds the dew late, so the first stop of the morning waits for the grass to dry and the rest of the day falls into line behind it. A cut lawn beside a river reads a certain way — orderly against all that tangle — and getting that contrast right is the whole point. When the leaves finally come down, they clear them out, beds and all.
