About 100 Yards Landscaping LLC

A hundred yards is a shape you can hold in your head — and around Poplar Lawn, where the old oaks throw their shade across the grass in long August bars, that is about the size of the work. 100 Yards Landscaping LLC mows, edges and trims yards across Petersburg, taking the beds and borders as seriously as the open middle. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass along a sidewalk, when the line comes out straight and the clippings go back into the lawn instead of the street. Summer here arrives humid and slow, thunderheads stacking up over the west end by four o'clock, so the cutting gets done early while the air is still willing. Come autumn the leaves drop all at once, and hauling them off lets the turf breathe its way into winter.
