About Rudy’s Landscaping Service

August afternoons in Oakton begin with a green sky out west over the Blue Ridge and end with thunder walking east down Waples Mill Road. Rudy's Landscaping Service reads that sky for a living — mow early, edge and trim ahead of the rain, then come back afterward for the branches and the flattened beds. Winter turns the operation over entirely: plowing driveways, shoveling walks and spreading salt on the steep aprons this town has more of than people expect. The satisfaction is identical in both halves of the year — arriving before the trouble does, and leaving a property that looks like the weather never touched it. Then the next front builds over the mountains and it all begins again.
