About Turner Lawn and Landscaping

When a front stalls against the mountains west of town, the snow that falls on Norton falls on a grade — every street here is either going up or coming down, and US 23 toward Big Stone Gap is where you learn it. Turner Lawn and Landscaping runs snow removal on those pitches: drives plowed, walks cleared, salt on the turns where a car would otherwise get away from its driver. In the green half of the year the same hands mow, trim and edge, and the changeover is barely a pause. Winter here is short-tempered — a foot on Tuesday, mud by Friday — so the work is about being ready rather than being certain. Both trades come down to one thing: a property somebody can use today.
