Titan Grounds & Home

About Titan Grounds & Home

Downtown Norfolk goes glassy in a cold snap — the plazas near Town Point, the brick along Granby Street, every stair rail suddenly cold enough to bite. Titan Grounds & Home works those surfaces when winter finally makes its point: plowing lots, clearing sidewalks and entries, spreading salt where the wind funnels between the buildings. The bay keeps this city mild most of the year, which is exactly why an ice morning catches everyone flat-footed. Getting there first, in the blue hour before the offices fill, is the job in its entirety. Safe footing is invisible when it works, and invisible is the goal.
