About JR Services & Sales

Cold comes up hard along Lambert's Point, where the rail lines run out to the coal piers and nothing stands between the water and the street to slow the wind. When Norfolk freezes, JR Services & Sales is out clearing drives and walkways through those neighborhoods, plowing what has piled up and cutting paths through what refuses to melt in the shade. Snow this far south lands heavy and wet and turns to ice by nightfall, so the first clearing has to be thorough or it's simply wasted effort. Treated steps, a drive taken down to the concrete, a walk cut wide enough for two people to pass. It's a short season here, and an urgent one.
