About Dirt Worx LLC

Nickelsville is tucked among the long, wooded ridges of Scott County, deep in Southwest Virginia, where a late-spring rain leaves the whole valley smelling of wet earth and new leaves. Dirt Worx LLC looks after lawns here, mowing yards that tilt with the hillsides and trimming along fence posts and porch steps that were never set quite level. By late May the mountains turn an almost unreasonable shade of green, and keeping pace takes a steady hand on slopes that flatland mowers never have to face. As evening slants across the ridgetops, a freshly cut hillside looks combed smooth from crest to foot. A clean border against a gravel drive and a yard resting gently against the mountains behind it: that is the satisfaction this work is after.
