About Stars & Stripes Lawn Care Services, LLC

July on the upper end of Newport News is thick and bright, and the crape myrtles along the roadsides bloom straight through the worst of it. Stars & Stripes Lawn Care Services, LLC works those weeks out near Fort Eustis and through the neighborhoods off Warwick, mowing on a steady rotation so the grass never gets ahead of itself. Every visit finishes the same way — edges run along the walks and drive, trimming taken around posts and fence lines, clippings blown clear of the concrete. In heat like this a lawn can look tired by Thursday, which is exactly why the schedule matters more than anything else. Come evening, when the light stretches out long and gold, a freshly cut yard is the finest thing on the street.
