About Escape Tree and Stump, LLC

Newport News Park spreads for thousands of acres across the north end of the city, and in a hard winter the whole of it goes still and pale. Escape Tree and Stump, LLC handles snow removal in the neighborhoods below that green — plowing driveways, opening walkways, salting the slabs on the north side of a house that refuse to thaw on their own. A storm here usually arrives wet and leaves heavy, and it wants moving before it packs down into something stubborn. Getting to it early is most of the job. Then the coffee, and a street that can get itself to work.
