About BLL Lawn and Landscapes

Down at Menchville the Warwick River slides past the boat ramps, crab pots stacked on the bulkhead, and the yards behind those docks grow hard in July. BLL Lawn and Landscapes keeps them cut, edged and trimmed through a Newport News summer that arrives humid off the water and holds on into October. There is real satisfaction in a straight line along a driveway lip, in a bed edge that keeps its shape after a thunderstorm has come through. Warm-season grass loves this latitude; the whole trick is meeting it week after week instead of chasing it. When fall finally turns, the mowing gives way to leaf work, and the same lawns get put to bed clean.
