About Tate's Lawn Care. LLC

Along New Kent's northern edge, the Pamunkey River winds slow and tea-colored through marsh and farmland, and the lawns of this tidewater county grow lush in the heavy summer air. Tate's Lawn Care. LLC keeps them mowed, edged and trimmed through the long Virginia summer, when a single week of sun and thunderstorms can turn a tidy yard shaggy. The work shows itself in early evening, as the heat finally breaks and low amber light rakes across a fresh cut, picking out each straight stripe. Edges squared along the drive, clippings blown off the walk, the corners by the porch trimmed close: the details are where the pride lives. It all adds up to a New Kent yard that looks ready for company on a Sunday afternoon.
