About American Lawn Management

Spring arrives early and all at once in this flat corner of Pasquotank County, where the sky takes up most of the view and the Pasquotank River runs dark and slow toward the sound. American Lawn Management keeps yards around Mount Hermon on that first-warm-week schedule: mowing, edging, trimming back what winter left, hauling the clippings away. Ground this level shows every mistake — a crooked stripe reads for a hundred yards — so the lines get walked straight. There is real pleasure in a yard that comes back thick and green after a wet March, and in being the reason it looks that way. The work is plain, and it gets done every week the grass asks for it.
