About Basham's Lawn Services

On a June morning the coves of Smith Mountain Lake hold their mist until the sun clears the treeline, and the grass runs down to the water still silver with dew. Basham's Lawn Services mows those slopes — cutting clean to the bulkhead, trimming around dock posts and stone, edging the footpaths, keeping beds mulched against the coming heat. Lake yards are steep and awkward and entirely worth the trouble. By afternoon the mist has burned off, the stripes are set, and the lawn looks like part of the shoreline rather than something fighting it. Moneta summers pay back anyone willing to start early.
